We are also using a lot more troops that people thought before, suggesting there may be more conventional fighting than some people thought... Recall that some analysts said that along with an Iraqi insurrection, 200,000 U.S. troops might be able to do the job. Now it looks like we'll have more like 300,000-400,000 in theatre when things kick off, This is about more than Iraq!!
You don't move 400,000 troops, take care of a problem, then bring them home, only to redeploy a year or two later.
This time we will clean out the entire rotten neighborhood.
That means the terrorists in Syria and Iran.
Bush will not make the same mistake his father made in 1991 when he did not move to Baghdad.
The troops are in theater.......they will be used!!
Intimidation is just as good a lever as warfare, especially when dealing with insecure cowards!!

Kind of looks more like the father of all bombs, though. If you get my drift. The diameter to length ratio is such that this almost looks like a penetration weapon designed for busting deep bunkers.
A "daisy cutter" is much fatter in relation to it's length.

"How about "Allah's Bane"? Kind of like receiving a visit from a "Balrog" in the Mines of Moria huh?

Sometimes a bomb is just a bomb....albeit a very, very, big bomb.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. But this is one big FReepin' bomb!
I like the military humor:
Massive Ordnance Air Burst = MOAB = Mother of All Bombs
Real cute.
