Kilmeade mentions Clinton-Dole Viagra.

Bill Clinton apparently signed a deal with 60 minutes so he can come on and "Bash Bush" for $1000 a word. Dole has also signed on to counter attack on 60 minutes.
Anyways on Fox and Friends this morning they were talking about it, and Brian was trying to think of a way to insult Clinton, and it came out..
Well maybe they can share Viagra! As his voice trailed off...because Bob Dole seems to have a lot of it.

B-1 Bob filled in for Rush way back when.
I still lived in California; moved to Nashville after the '94 earthquake only to see Dornan fall victim to Motor Voter and Limbaugh get pussy-whipped; left the far-right to tread water and dodge Beltway Boogie-boards.
I don't think Bush is ever going to inspire me.
Boy, I sure miss Ronald Reagan.

I miss RR, too, and often wonder what he would be saying now. But I still feel strong about GW. I hope my faith isn't misguided.

I just keep thinking that Dole isn't the right person to be the counter-point to Clinton.
You're absolutely right, he's not. He's just happy to be there...or anywhere in the public eye for that matter. I'd bet dollars to donuts 60 Minutes considered that in the "make Bubba look great" equation......after all, that's what this is all about....keeping Bubba front and center.
Who else, though? Newt? Bill Bennett? Who?
Not Bennett...too preachy and humorless, and too often overly enamored with his own sense of moral superiority for that environment IMHO.
Newt?...maybe....but which Newt would be getting. Newt the brilliant fighter/tactitian, or Neut the "onion" deprived?
IMHO, the only way to beat up Bubba on a weekly basis is with cutting humor delivered with a s#!t eatin' grin. I don't think we have any ex-politico's who have that quality....but I'll think on it.
Sorry this was such a long response, but I've got a big problem with the ex-president's un-ex-presidential style, and the fact that he's in full "Hillary & Me in `04" mode means he must be smacked down.
The "Shadow Government" that was bandied about semi-humorously post `00 election by the Dems was no joke to me.

Admittedly there is a mismatching of relevance and gravitas between Clinton and Miller but I guess NBC thought that Clinton was the best they could do.

CBS chose the champion of Democrats and then chose an old style (and old) Republican with no following.
If CBS were scheduling a fight, they would put Tyson up against someone's sweet grandmother. CBS, you bias is showing.
FOX or Leno, or Saturday Night Live, please do a parody of this, really it's soooooo blatant.
