"we are ready to go. Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have taken the military which was supposed to go to Turkey. "

What about the twenty ships full of equipment still in the Mediterranean? Plus, Egypt will ask for additional aid to allow the ships to pass through the Suez Canal. What about the M1 tanks that are coming from Germany. Plan "B" must not include using those assets, huh? I certainly don't know but, I don't think it is Friday or even next week. However, I do recall Franks saying over a month ago, "we're ready to go."

Yeah, I know what you mean - it's very confusing - and maybe that's what it's supposed to be.

Do we actually know for certain that they are still in the Mediterranean?

Or even that they EVER WERE IN the Med?

Can you be absolutely certain that they didn't round the Cape of Good Hope a week ago, and are now somewhere in the Indian Ocean, on their way to the Gulf . . . or another trouble spot?
