Seattle Radio Station causes high school to immediately remove offensive pictures from website

KVI 570 talk show host John Carlson led his 3:00 program today with a topic he researched today. There's a social studies teacher at Issaquah High School who posted offensive propaganda images of the Bush Administration and corporate America.

Turns out the website is integral to this teachers course and required reading for classroom assignments and quizs. The website is also the responsibility of the school district and taxpayer funded.

Carlson's exposure has resulted in the website being cleaned up. All the offensive images are now gone!

Way to go Carlson and KVI 570!

I heard Gallager on KVI. He's cut from the same mold as Burka. Both are part of the problem. Gallager couldn't understand the difference between Carlson's political radio show and the captive audience of a classroom full of juveniles. Both should be shown the door.

I also remember Burka being the radical union leader during this past Fall's illegal teacher strike at Issaquah.

If you want to go after Berka and the principal who protects him, you need to go after the school board. Drop in on their next meeting.

You're right that's the only way to make changes. Out of my area though. I have my hands full over here on the peninsula riding herd on my school board of liberal fools.

I asked Jim Robinson to remove it. It was intended to be a private reply but I inadvertently clicked 'post reply'. It was nothing.

Listening to KVI now. Berka is 'recognized' as an excellent teacher. The principal was on and didn't say the image of George Bush with Satan was disrespectful.

Good evening everyone. I'm really proud of the email you sent, Holy Scroller. The IHS prinicpal was odious and biased beyond belief, his thinking as sophmoric as brainwashed students... Did you notice that the first sentence in his leeter to the parents didn't use correct English? Neither did he not tell the whole truth in that letter. Shameful behavior. Hopefully he hears MORE about this at the next (fully packed) school board meeting. Perhaps flanked by the "sensitive" Mr. Burqua :)

Puyallup High School (Puyallup is east of Tacoma, Washington) has color flags (depicting the races) surrounding the flagpole. At the top of the flagpole is a purple flag.

Our children do not attend the public schools.
