Calling all Freepers in foreign lands:
We read regularly that in, for example, Kurdish-controlled areas inside Iraq, there exists
a. a high degree of personal freedom,
b. a strong support for Pres. Bush and the US initiatives toward a free and democratic Iraq, and
c. the easy access to internet cafes.
So -- if (c) is true in conjunction with (a+b), then we MUST have Iraqi freepers, or at a minimum, Iraqi lurkers.
Are you out there? We want to hear from you. Join the conversation -- there is nothing like eyes and ears on the ground, and true details of the political situation, the degree of support for the Bush initiatives, etc. We're waiting to hear from you.

Not true. What about the Northern areas -- they are largely outside the reach of Saddam, according to all the analysis I read here.

I trusted Jim Robinson with my name and personal information at the time Clinton was riding high and siccing the IRS and the FBI on his enemies. Corpses were scattered around the country and conservative charities were being audited. As I recall Jim Robinson had said something about prying the gun from his cold, dead fingers before he cooperated, and I believed him.
I think Saddam's Iraqi enemies and others in exposed positions can do the same. They should use the customary Freeper screen names and they should be extremely careful about revealing personal details in their posts. The site was closely monitored in clinton's days, and I'm sure various parties are monitoring it now.
