Just last week, he remarked that bin Laden's last two messages inferred that he was feeling the noose beginning to tighten dramatically. Just a few days later, we got Mohammed. He must have a huge "in" with Pakistani intelligence...

Also, UBL is believed to be more levelheaded and focused than KSM, and would have the discipline to at least have a sentry posted.

Capturing bin Laden isn't as important as capturing Mohammad, because Mohammad is the one with the operational details. I'll settle for having Osama's head on a stick.

You got that right. The Iraqi campaign is all but a go, Bush all but threatened a military strike on Yongbyon if the NKs don't shut it down before they start producing weapons, and now we're hotter on bin Laden's dirty heels than we've been in a decade. Not a good month to be a bad guy.

I like Ijaz as much as you do, but I did hear an interview this morning that inclines me to be a bit more circumspect regarding his information. I don't know anything about the credibility of this man, Robin Moore who wrote The Hunt for Bin Laden, and he did not mention Ijaz by name, but he was interviewed on Imus and he struck me as the real deal. He does not agree with a lot of what Ijaz has said. For example, he said that we did not get all that much assistance from ISI in Pakistan. It's set up that we give credit for success to help allies and take blame for failure.

He said we really need to continue to work with Karzai in Afghanistan. He has been on the ground over there and saw a lot. I would like to know what other people know about this guy. He also said that he tends to believe Bin Laden is dead. We knew exactly where he was and dropped missiles too early to get him and he escaped--again. He said the real story about Afghanistan has not been told. Of course he's selling his book, but he was an interesting listen.

Iran's appears to have been silently helping out Al Qaeda for some time. That will be a useful card to play later. I imagine we know a lot more about Iran than we're discussing, but we'll drop a dime on them in due time.

We have been very active in dealing with Iraq and it now appears No. Korea which is 2/3rds of the "Axis of Evil" Some, wiser than myself, have pointed out that the U.S. with bases in Afganistan and soon to be Iraq will have Iran surrounded.I believe a little aid to the large Iranian opposition will be enough to expedite a visit of Iranian leaders to Allah. If they get don't leave and things get out of hand we are within bombing distance from both sides of the country. The only terrorism that will be feared is F-16's and B-1 Bombers landing terror on command and control in Iran.

There should be maximum publicity for the reward money doled out for the capture of Kaled Shaik Muhammed. This will motivate the bounty hunters.

There should be an airdrop of a milllion packs of Marlboro with Osama's face and reward money information. Include a dollar bill in the pack. Word will travel real quick.

The news report I heard was that the Pakis lured him outside or at least to the door so they could be sure to capture his laptop, cell phones, etc. intact.

I second this query! The only thing I've heard him say that I disagree with is him telling Billy O' that O'reilly had the responsibility to help those who support Islam who are peaceful in the religion, come out and condem terrorist.

I heard a comment on the news last night they can get more reliable information out of someone if physical torture isn't used. If you're having your fingernails pulled out, you'll say anything whether it’s true or not. Sleep depravation would do it for me. Mental torture is probably what they are using (bummer, I know).

I too thought OBL to be at room temp but being wrong may not be too bad here. If he is caught, will it not make Teddy, Tommie, Hill and their ilk, look the fools. After all, GWB is devoting all his resources to Iraq. He can't walk and chew tabakkie at the same time. Right?

I saw that interview. I, too, thought it was weird for him to take that position.
