Andersen Worldwide Slapped With $6 Billion Lawsuit

BALTIMORE, March 3, 2001 (SmartPros) — Department 56, a Minnesota collectibles company, filed a lawsuit here seeking $6 billion from Arthur Andersen Worldwide Societe Cooperative, the Geneva-based umbrella company of Arthur Andersen and Andersen Consulting, for what it described as a bungled effort by Arthur Andersen to overhaul its computer systems.

I don't blame them one bit for hiring the biggest pit-bull ambulance chaser they can find to present their case.

The gov't has had one year to 'make things right' and they have failed miserably. Their behavior, since the moment their thug pulled the trigger, has been deplorable and offensive to any civilized member of a Free society.
