I know that is a freeper, in living color, holding Registered's Uncle Sam rolling up his sleeves poster, on page 49 of the Post. No url, because it's the Pulse section, which does not appear on the Web, and I don't have the time right now to type in the whole article, but if you're near a newsstand, maybe you can pick one up. In the meantime, I will buy up a bunch.

Precisely why my best friend and I DO NOT engage in political discussion--if HE can help it (he's always the one that just can't NOT bring something up).
We're goin' on 30 years of great friendship and I'm more than happy to blast his emotional non-truths, but we agree to disagree and stick to striper and blue fishin'.

But no one's name was mentioned.

Grab a NY post and tell me if this isn't the freeper who sat with us downstairs at Moran's after the party was over.

I used to be able to hold on to most of my friends with different worldviews. But, over the years, I've drifted apart from many of the libs I knew from college. The 2000 election alone formed 3 friendship casualties. To be sure, I do have some very liberal friends who I speak to about everything except politics, which is fine and valuable to me, because there are other things in life too.

And then there are family members . . .

I don't know if the photo is of me or not, but I'm not in the article anywhere. To my knowledge, my picture has never been taken in New York by a news person. Registered's Uncle Sam poster is very popular at FR events so must be someone else!
