Hmm... I thought President Bush said "days and weeks, not months and years" back in September of 2002...
Maybe we are a paper tiger.

Dammit. I'm startin to wonder if this war will ever happen.
I can see the AP story now:
WASHINGTON, DC -- Jan 19, 2004 (AP) -- President Bush said Iraq has missed it's final, last, ultimate chance, and that war is the only option. Bush said, "We really, really mean it this time," echoing his own statements from March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December of last year.

What gives? Are we serious about this or not? I think it's high time for the Prez to address the people honestly and frankly about what is going on here without repeating the same tired broken record rhetoric he's been spouting for MONTHS (weeks, not months - right?). This is making us look indecisive, weak and foolish.

The new moon is April 1st, I'm not fooling ..... haha
To: SamAdams76
Actually there would be tremendous irony in the April new moon, as that falls on April Fools Day.

It's high time that we make a move, or pull out our troops FOREVER.

It's Powell's fault. Tons of people predicted the circus that would ensue if we took it the UN, but Powell wanted to go to the UN anyway. Ugh!
To: Thane_Banquo
Bush followed Powell's advice. Therefore, it's Bush's responsibility.

The folks who bet you that the battle would begin on or before March 31 look like they're going to be out some dough.
