I like the Beastie Boyz. And as for Eminem...I think he's just down right comical. As an artist myself, it's not so much as the appearance I observe of these artist, but it's the message they relay. Same for the rap group, West Side Connection's, "The World Ain't Nothing but a Dollar Sign."

Yer correct to shun the desire to "control" folks...it's a major goal in my life to avoid "controlling" folks, 'cuz then you become responsible for their actions. However, I believe we are "influenced" by everyone we encounter, to one degree or another, as we "influence" everyone we interact with, fer good or for bad.

FBD, Dru offers an insight and a severe directness that influences me immeasurably...he don't sugarcoat stuff, and most of his sincere criticism is intended to be constructive, whether I heed said advice or not.

BTW...as fer "influencing" folks, in '96 I was a huge ClintonBasher in the fall running up to the election and some of those I sought to "influence" into rejecting Clinton and voting fer bobdole told me they were gonna vote fer Clinton just to spite me and my cramitdownyerthroat 'tude...LOL!! I'm not sure if any of them followed thru on the threat, and Dole won the VA electoral votes comfortably, but I learned a valuable lesson about how my boisterous boosterism could work against me, and I've mellowed my approach to changing folks' hearts and minds considerably.

Been listening to it all afternoon, too.

It's in a word, *excllent*. (& that ain't the "moon" talkin', either.)

"Hard Rock" -- for the most part -- & as I already told you, I really like this "Ross" guy who's your lead singer.
The guy on one cut ("She's Gone" >?< ) sounds exactly like Pearl Jam's singer -- eddy vetter? -- only I think Ross is much better. Fuller. Stronger. By far.

Judging from the "sound" of these guys on these cuts, I can easily tell they're no lightwieghts, Mr.A.
I'm certain y'all are getting booked into some damned nice, high profile venues.

I'd pay to see y'all; you damned right I would. Take it to the bank. In fact you should take that act on the road & book at the Casino Aztar here in Evanville...amoung other places.
You could all have some fun & make a bundle of dough in the process.

Their Lead guitarist has some spectacular solos...aww hell, ALL the members are damned good. The Bassist right in the groove. Drummer can set down a beat with the very best of 'em. They're all very good.
I gotta tell you I'm really, really enjoying this thing; &, *that* kinda surprises me (to no end)!

Did this group ever reach any level of success; even if only "regional"??
How many of the guys I'm listening to with the group on this CD are still with Ross' CB??
Are y'all still playing the same *type* of material; &, perhaps more important than all else?
