Patients would be told that a late-term abortion could cause the fetus pain.
Abortion foes are notching up their efforts with a new bill to require doctors to tell women who are considering an abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy that the fetus might suffer pain.

This is a bad argument. Suppose a painless method were discovered (as it might)? Would that make it OK?

It's not an argument, it's a bill to inform a patient of facts about the procedure as it is now.

They ought to point out how the ex-mothers are prone to serious injury by failure to remove all of the dead child. Have them stay afterwards and count to six along with the abortionist (two arms, two legs, a head, and a torso), and sign off on a sheet. Perhaps NARAL and NOW could propose this as a means to stave off malpractice claims against abortionists?
