I am sure that there will be trouble if the protests start up as planned on Day 1 of the war. People will not be in the mood to have protesters in their face as soon as the conflict begins. That's a very jittery time anyway and having large crowds like that is foolish.

You're right, the organizers of these protests are using people who honestly think they are being good patriots and Americans in their opposition to the war. Most people involved in these protests will follow whatever the organizers tell them to do, not realizing how dangerous it is for them.

I suppose the protesters will be carrying their "No Blood For Oil" signs and chanting. Feeling empowered by their bold opposition to the war, they decide to surround, scream at and, perhaps, rock an evil SUV. Inside is a Navy wife and her children. The protesters similarly treat a 4WD pick up containing what the protesters view as an ignorant red neck.

The idiots touch my vehicle and there'll be blood, but it won't be for oil!
