Shows won't challenge Tuck

Former U.S. Rep. Ronnie Shows won't mount a challenge to Lt. Gov. Amy Tuck, whom he believes cost him his seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

His decision was one of the developments that came with Saturday's qualifying deadline for statewide elections.

"Shows won't challenge Tuck" -- ? That sounded to me as if a series of television exposes intended to debunk the "Friar Tuck" part of the Robin Hood legend had been canceled. Probably after a wave of protests by the Robin Hood Died For You Society.
