they are French through and through. Hey, at least the French wait until someone is shooting at them before they surrender.

Mr. Meynell and fellow protesters who moved into the power station in south Baghdad last weekend were dismayed to find that it stood next to an army base and the strategically crucial road south to Basra. What did they expect? Bloody morons. Too bad they didn't stay. These people should not be passing on their genes.

Nine out of the 11 activists decided to pull out after being given an ultimatum by Iraqi officials yesterday to station themselves at targets likely to be bombed in a war or leave the country."Get back on the Bus!" ping.

"It's alright, I still have 'candidates' left to audition. The ones that got away? Well, let's just say that the stuff some of them were 'shielding' might have been shielded with a quarter inch of lead as well, but wasn't. I'm still job, happily doing what I can to 'keep the floaters out of the gene pool,' as that capital cowboy fellow in your White House might say. Sincerely, C.D."

Spineless jerks, as well as treasonous.
Funny thing, too. Apparently the "shields" were comfortable in "orphanages" or private homes, but not near RG bases? Now why is that? Uh, well, for no other reason than because they know the U.S. isn't going to target the places they so "bravely" wanted to shield. In other words, their plan to "shield" civilians itself assumes the U.S. won't even be attacking the places these *ssholes say they want to protect!
Why isn't this point made more clearly in the story?

Mr. Meynell, a former high sheriff of Derbyshire, said he was leaving out of "cold fear."

Thanks for posting that link. Absolutely hilarious. If it were published as fiction, we would say it lacked sufficient credibility to even justify a laugh. Truth is stranger than, and funnier than, fiction.
