I'm actually surprised. Seems like we're loaded down with peace protesters over on this side of the divide. On Friday afternoons they always protest at the corner of Montana Ave and 11th.

Its the same group all of the time downtown. I think the free soup and coffee they offer helps draw the support they have. Lucky for us most of the participants do not have any form of ID or care to vote in any given election. But they do accept quarters for drinks.

Heh. I lived in MT many years ago - "zoo city" we called it. Must admit the fruits, nuts, and associated tree-huggers, fern feelers and earth muffins were a vital and integral part in my maturation as a conservative. All the wack-jobs seem to be transplants, no?

Yahoo.... we just got back from the rally in Missoula Montana. There were at least 500 in attendance and it was lots of fun. Speakers from different churches, an Indian war veteran, and city leaders. Some songs and lots of flag waving. A strong positive message for our troops. My grandson and I were even interviewed on the local tv station. See, a smile and a flag beat the peace sign everytime.
