I just checked C-SPAN's schedule and the rally is not on it, yet. However, the rally is listed as one of today's events. I hope they replay it at least once so I can tape it.

Ron H. was just on David Gold's show for a recap on Houston. Live reports have been streaming in all morning and there's still an hour and fifteen minutes left to go on KSFO. Will closely monitor the C-Span schedule Hour and 10 minutes on hold resulted in no more new info.

Let's support the hosts who have been touting FreeperLand all day. I find it uncomfortable that there are so few Rally for America posts today, and of those that are up, very few replies. A lot of people braved terrible weather to give Free Republic a presence out there... let show our appreciation. And let's thank the talk show hosts who gave us such good coverage; http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/854361/posts

What a day for weather...we had about 1000 people there and rally beginning to pick up intensity when the black clouds appeared. Drill teams and honor Guard arrived, even the bagpiper. It was about 1/2 hour before the official start when we were suddenly ankle deep in water. The clouds just opened for over 20 minutes. Florida rains are famous!

It got moved indoors and hundreds more people came too since the radio was broadcasting live and kept those driving to the site informed.

The rain stopped at rally time. Folks like me who had set up hours early, had to stay with their displays, chairs and flags until we could get them into the vehicles. We were late for the event. The Fire Marshall closed the entrance and hundreds of people had to walk to the other end of the mall and enter up the long hall. It is a T shaped building.

I gave away all the signs and decorated bags to people entering and then unable to get to the front, listened to the rally from the car. Live Radio coverage was indeed a great thing for this bedraggled Freeper! I did not hear the call for all to go to the streets nearby and wave the signs so missed that fun!

The numbers were impressive and I hope some Freepers got inside to get photos.

You looked so cold!! How can I complain about rain?

Another Freep to remember!
