Thanks for posting this, MnM. I just watched him the other night with two little children left in our care for the evening. It was loverly! I'm sad to hear of his death.

I never watched his show, but I always heard about it and saw him from time to time while growing up (which is still going on, lol). He was always positive.

I recall some years back a young man in his early 20s that used to work at the same company I did. When I'd ask him how things were going, it was always "It's a lovely day." And sometimes he'd sing one line..."It's a lovely day in the neighborhood" ...
