if I were to attempt to do to Jane Doe what pregnancy and childbirth do to a woman, she would be legally justified in killing me to prevent it.False premise. A person can justify killing another person in self defense if they believe they are in danger of being killed themselves. In the vast majority of cases, childbirth and pregnacy do not result in death.

Your language gives you away,
You use the doublespeak of the Orwellian characters.
"Pregnancy that might be taking place"
is actually a new HUMAN who is likely already formed within a few minutes or hours of the sexual copulation.
Rape kits are not generally not administered until long after the typical conception has already occured.
You think killing an innocent human person if fine when the utility of that killin is high.
That is satanic.

pro-rape advocates My wife is a rape attempt survivor. I'd thank you not to call anyone on this thread, but particularly me, a "pro-rape advocate."
Your apology is accepted.

Wow - now there is a new low - wanting a regime where you can tell freshly raped women that you can't do a rape kit in the hopes they might be pregnant.
Guess you'll do it with a smile on your face, right?

...pro-rape advocates ... Please direct me to a post on this thread that advocates rape.

Do you really think that your citing a case representative of less than .0001% of abortions somehow invalidates the SCOTUS decision regarding the efficacy of RICO and the Hobbs Act as regards pro life demonstrations?
To: unrestricted
I never liked the RICO laws much anyway. They were meant for racketeers and not political activists. However, it does not mean that pro-rape advocates can go blow-up Planned Parenthood Clinics with impunity now. It also doesn't mean that assholes are prohibited from posting at FR but who's counting?

I've seen Joe Scheidler's work at first hand. He has a habit of using his size to intimidate people.Sorry, but that is not true at all.

By now it apparent that you truly are satan.

I must add that I always find it puzzling that people actually debate this like it's a political issue. Or people say, well, I don't like the pro-life tactics....HELLO, how far would you be willing to go to save the life of a baby? If you see an already born child being brutally murdered in the street, do you stop and debate about it? We will never win as long as people think there is anything to discuss about babies being murdered. There are only 2 sides to this if you think murdering children is ok.

It's not her organs that are in question - it's the baby - a new human being. But as a Libertarian, I know you want to think that new human being is her property and that she is free to kill it.
To: VRWC_minion
A person can justify killing another person in self defense if they believe they are in danger of being killed themselves. The legal standard (at least in Illinois) is death OR "grave bodily harm."

you can do wahtever you want with your reproductive organs
its just the baby inside of them that you cannot deliberately harm
there is a government interest in protecting that life, just like there is an interest in protecting the life of your child within your home who is being threatened by your behavior
