Then he used the rifle for photo ops with the Councilmen each of whom, in handling the firearm, may have been committing a felony. It'd be great to see some Councilmen placed under citizen's arrest. What's the procedure for doing this?

BRAVO ZULU bump for Ronnie Barrett!
"Please excuse my slow response on the repair service of the rifle. I am battling to what service I am repairing the rifle for. I will not sell, nor service, my rifles to those seeking to infringe upon the Constitution and the crystal clear rights it affords individuals to own firearms."
Well said, and stand your ground!

Your department [LAPD] had sent one of your 82A1 rifles in to us for service.Under what "civil law enforcement criteria" does the Los Angeles Police Department consider the necessity to have a magazine fed .50 BMG?

Of all the entities on the planet, I think the LAPD is at the bottom of the list of groups who should have the Barrett. Anyone know anything about the study that showed that the LAPD commmits more crimes than the criminals in some states? I heard something about it in passing, but can't find it now.

Sadly, Ronnie Barrett learned a valuable lesson.
It is not possible to reason with a zealot.
Equally sad, Mr. Barrett's shot across their bow will be simply interpreted as further evidence of the depraved mindset of the 50 caliber crowd rather than a pause for reflection.

Darnit, I wish I had the cash to buy one, they are absolutely awesome. Not that I have any place to shoot it but it would certainly be a centerpiece of attraction in my theater room. On the other hand, it could certainly come in handy some day........ LOL!
I don't even know if you can buy ammo for this monster. Can you? Not that I could afford it.......

Mr. Barrett is wasting his time in Californicate! Granted he has a company interest in keeping his product legal in all states but Californicate is a lost cause......

Angela Barrett with Barrett Firearms' new Model 99-1
lightweight .50 BMG single-shot with night vision scope.
Barrett created the market for modern .50 caliber rifles, and they
continue to remain at the forefront of .50 caliber design.
