Notice how FReepers are outraged when MTV censors anti-Hilary boos, but when the Grammys censor anti-Bush statements, that's just fine.
I watch neither MTV nor the Grammys, so I don't give a damn what happens on either. I'm simply responding to Crow's comments. And, it would be nice if she were made to explain exactly which wars are okay in her world.

You called that a SONG???I used to think my Dad was out of touch when he derided my fondness for Grateful Dead. Now Im older with kids, house, etc, and all I can think of is what kind of crap music and garbage message is this twerp spouting?? And then I realize, that my Dad said the same exact thing about the 'Dead!!! While its come full circle for me, I still think the new music is awful. I still listen to all the old stuff to this day.

The best way to solve problems is to not have enemies. One of the blondest statements I've ever heard.

She's a total buffoon. She's warned of "karmic retribution" in the case of war.I wonder what the karmic consequences are of doing nothing while a madman kills and tortures millions and builds an arsenal to kill millions more? ("Karmic retribution" is an oxymoron.)

Now, if the Celebrinazi's spew forth their anti-American diatribe, who's going to look bad in the Heartland? Not President Bush, it's the stupid celebrinazi's that will come off looking stupid. I disagree. Celebs wield influcence, especially over the young. The censoring was done to protect the war effort, which I assume Viacom/CBS/MTV corporate globalist owners support, even if many of their viewers do not.
BTW, I think this "Heartland" thing is largely a myth. That's Jerry Springer country, and their young watch MTV and Hollywood product, same as people in NY/LA.

"I think war is based in greed and there are huge karmic retributions that will follow." Wonder what little Sheryl thinks of the RIAA's war on "CD pirates"? ;-)

No, she's the re-incarnation of Marie Antoinette. That statement that the best way to prevent war is to not have enemies ranks with "let em eat cake"!
And they say dumb blondes are a sterotype!

And, it would be nice if she were made to explain exactly which wars are okay in her world. Easy ---any Clinton wars. I didn't see any of these clowns protesting when Clinton bombed Iraq for the purpose of keeping Monica's testimony off the front pages. He bombed Sudan, no protest, he invaded Haiti, no protest, he bombed the Serbs, no protest.
