My favorite part is her wearing the "serious" nerdy glasses and the disheveled appearance, so as to not look too Hollywood. Everything is an illusion for these people.

Garofolo is on the road to oblivion. She has failed to heed the warning signs exhibited by other once "famous" people who opened their mouths on politics and promptly destroyed their careers. Bill Maher & Ellen DeGeneres are two former comedians who had a decent career going when they stuck to non-political jokes and stances. Alec Baldwin is an actor who has met the same fate. Since then, they have lost credibility and have banished to the outer reaches of stardom.

Subber,
I agree. He was very focused, polite, composed. Didn't allow her to spin her (non)answers too long. Stepped her around her own circular logical path to illuminate the fact that she and her ilk do not have ANY real answers.
I wish he would have asked her why we haven't exerted hegemony over the region since Gulf War I.

GAROFALO:...But there's no evidence that he [Saddam] has weapons of mass destruction. There's been no evidence of him testing nuclear weapons. Okay, right here is the heart of the matter to me. These people (the anti-warniks) don't understand that chemical and biological weapons are in fact considered WMD. And there is no doubt that Saddam has chem/bio!
What an imbecile she is, along with the rest of that ilk.

Thank you.

"Eager to obtain weapons of mass destruction, do you think he is?"
(Sorry, couldn't help myself...)

GAROFALO: I'm just in Win Without War, which is 32 million people. A very, very, very small portion of them are actors. 32 million members? Where in the heck did she get that number? She is beyond deluded. What did she do - add the population of France?

I think I see a resemblance here...

Janeane Garofalo told The New York Times, Who would have thought that Id be angry on behalf of my country? Im used to being angry AT my country. (Quoted 9/28/01, by Lana Whited, Roanoke.com columist)

she told Rolling Stone she was addicted to sex. So memorable in fact, I bet I don't get one response that says anyone ever heard of it. STFU already!!!!! odd- the only thing I remember her ever saying about her sex life was that she had a pretty dull one- didn't really like exotic practices, didn't really have a lot of it. Which is just as well.

It may be of interest to Freepers that Janeane Garofalo is of Arab decent. Oh really. I thought she was descended from a rabid llama given this performance.

"This is where I stopped reading."At least you were reading. I had to hear the entire interview, whiney, nerve-grating voice and all. This is one annoying woman even without her lamebrained "opinions."

As Im sure yall have noticed the libs are trying to come up with a talk show host. As silly as it sounds I suspect that this idiot is being auditioned for the slot.
Im also ashamed to say this, but I think she is from The Houston area. That means Garofalo, and Begala two wacko libs from Houston are of Arab decent.

What an outrageously vapid phony Garafolo is. Boo on Snow for giving a no-talent lightweight like her a forum.
To: InHisService
with about 6,000 or 7,000 Afghani civilians deadHuh? How did Snow let her get away with that?
