Just announced that the ENTIRE New Jersey Turnpike has been CLOSED due to fog.

Everyone in NJ is on Route 1 now. Try an alternate route. We had gone shopping at Ikea via the Turnpike (Newark Airport exit) this morning. There was fog but it was okay if you were careful. When we tried to come back home on Turnpike south, everything was shut down. Can you say an hour to get from Newark to Woodbridge on Route 1.
Route 1 South is fine past the 287 interchange. Route 1 North is a parking lot from the Raritan River north. Have fun! Rut Roh. I hear alarms. Wonder what's up.

Does that mean there's heavy fog the entire length of the Turnpike?

I don't know if it is the entire length but this morning about 10ish, I saw fog between exits 9 and 13A. My sister is at exit 7. She told me at about 9:00 that there was fog there and accidents along 130.
