Is that true, that there was only one person (besides the media) at her campaign kickoff?

Yes, It was an event in Des Moines the day after 11 inches of snow fell in the area. But hey she was only interested in the media coverage.
To: Illbay
Yes. And, that one person happened to be an old college chum of Carol's.
To: Davis
Nice turnout, Carol.

Former U.S. Sen. Carol Moseley-Braun, who is considering running for president on the Democratic ticket in 2004, stands at a podium before speaking to a small group at an event sponsored by the American Women Presidents organization in Des Moines, Iowa, Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003.

George Washington is turning over in his graveI think he was probably used to these sort of people.
After all, he led a Revolution against their rule!

I think she was recalled by the new Bush admin. Pretty sure anyway.
To: Dante3
I'm surprised there was even one person listening to her!
To: Davis
Yes, unfortunately, Carol Mostly-Brainless used to be my senator.
I'm so glad she's gone!

Yeah, and she really likes empty rooms.
This is a ploy by the DNC to deflect attention from the ringmesiter, Rev Al Sharpton. It won't work.

Did anyone just see Mosely-Fraud on Fox a few minutes ago on the Tony Snow show? He showed a clip from a press conference in which she was asked, "What was your college major?"
She said she couldn't remember...!!!
"Political Science, I guess. Or maybe history. I don't remember"
Gosh I get so tired of saying this---it's like an automatic---but can you imagine if it were a Republican or a conservative who couldn't remember his/her college major, how the media would have a field day??!!!! Sheesh...

Imagine someone who declared for the Republican presidential nomination in 1999 who said he couldn't remember his college major! There'd be a 60 Minutes investigation....Did this person even GO to college? Why can't or WON'T he answer this question?
How in hades can anyone with enough brains to get up in the morning FORGET wtf their college major was? I think the first question would be did she even GO, is her degree a fraud? And how can a person be qualified for leadership, much less POTUS, who can't recall their freaking college major!!??? Ha!

I was just coming back in the house when they were showing that. I was wondering if I had "misheard" her. Still laughing. Can you believe she thinks she is fit for the Presidency?

Can you tell me how she was elected?
I can understand it if she were elected to a house seat, but the WHOLE state electing her to the Senate?? I just never understood.
