This brought back so many memories.
Never forget to pack your own TP. And hide it!

Anyone have info on how we can send our soldiers care packages? I can circulate this to some classes at my kids' schools and organize a carepackage drive. I just don't know how to reach these people.

There was a thread on what you're asking yesterday. I just don't remember the title.

Ditto. There is nothing worse than sand in your TP. I would rather eat concrete than get sand in my TP.

The chemical reaction drill tested a decontamination centers ability to aid victims. Bahrainis also are being advised to create a safe room in their homes, rooms that can easily be sealed off against potential contaminants and stocked with food, water and other emergency supplies, very similar to the kinds of rooms residents of Washington, D.C., and New York City were urged to create.
The liberals thought this was so silly and made fun of it.
They are idiots. Look what the immediately endangered are doing!

"Camo New York" and "Camp Virginia," ahh, it makes me nostalgic for "Tent Cities" past.
Youth is wasted on the young. Oh to be a 25 year old platoon leader (or 19 year old private) in this show!

The ammo's still in the clip.
We had to do the same in Panama. I ended up in a hangar at Howard AirForce Base. My friend, a major at the time, forgot to clear his 9 mm in the sand barrel one day.
When withdrawing it near our cots it discharged. I wasn't there, but there was a hole in his cot. Fortunately, no one was hurt by ricochet. Coulda been me if I'd been there.

Mideast Notebook: Desperately seeking TP
European edition, Friday, February 21, 2003
Its not news that war creates shortages, both at home and among the troops. snip Their units are still waiting for supplies to arrive from Europe. Toilet paper disappears from the shelves of the small AAFES exchange as soon as it arrives. The preferred emergency backups, moist towelettes and facial tissue, also are hard to find.
When care packages arrive from home, soldiers may nibble at the sweets, but they lunge for the toilet paper.
Another paper shortage Next to toilet paper, the hottest commodity in the Europe-based V Corps units is Stars and Stripes. snip

The most powerful person in the world is a CHIEF WARRANT (CW3-5) who's been appointed SAFETY OFFICER!
They probably tell the president where to stand and how long to stand there!
