D Secret video links Milosevic to paramilitary units in 1997
Items compiled from Tribune news services Published February 20, 2003
AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS -- Slobodan Milosevic's war crimes trial was shown a secret video Wednesday that captured the ex-Yugoslav president at a ceremony paying tribute to Serb paramilitaries accused of ethnic cleansing.
Prosecutors are trying to establish a direct link between Milosevic and shadowy paramilitary units -- allegedly controlled by Serbian state security -- accused of atrocities in Croatia and Bosnia in 1991-95.
Milosevic, a Serb, has been on trial since February 2002, charged with genocide and crimes against humanity in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. He has refused to plead, accusing the court of bias against Serbs.
The 1997 video shot in a paramilitary camp in the Vojvodina region of northern Serbia showed Milosevic shaking hands with state security paramilitaries involved in operations to seize territory in Croatia and Bosnia.
A witness who attended the meeting testified that a request at the time for a copy was denied because of the tape's sensitivity.

They don't question why the video is secret. They don't even report on the witnesses' testimony. Why have a newspaper at all?
It's straight 'propaganda', and the main reason why the 'media' is losing all credibility. Sad, but this coverup also exists on Rush's show.
That's part of the problem. Many witnesses are walked into and out of 'private' sessions. Counter to claims by the 'tribunal'. This is not a 'public' trial.
What is the witnesses' testimony?
That's the rub. You have to watch the Hague video 'archives,

Its the only place were you can get the facts. Not one in the 'media' is covering this and that includes Rush. If you would watch the videos, you would come up with the exact opposite opinion that the 'Trib' is spreading.
