Is this a futile effort? If you subscribe to cable, chances are that some of your money will find its way to pay for TNT, TBS, Turner Classic Movies, Cartoon Network, CNN, etc. So if you want to see it on cable, some of your money will still go towards him. A bit less, but still some. I'd rather see it on the big screen, and I plan to the first chance I can Friday.

Good point about TNT. There's only so much you can do. It may be a good movie. I won't be paying to see it in the theater.
Why would I spend money part of which will go to help pay Ted's promise to the U.N.? Why should I give him money to donate to the likes of the Clintons or the DNC?

Does he even own all this anymore, or is it just a part of the AOL-TimeWarner behemoth? I think the latter.
As such, it matter less. As we now know, Ted Turner is not more nor less Liberal and anti-American than 80% of Hollyweird. But he does have a bit more money to throw around.
