Possibility Iraq Has Obtained North Korean Missiles Worries West

Britain and the United States of America are concerned that Iraq has secretly purchased intermediate range missiles from the People's Republic of North Korea.

If Saddam's regieme does have such missiles, it could change the threat from regional to international.

Western Diplomatic sources said North Korea has intensified contacts with Iraq regarding military sales over the last 18 months.

Bush and his speechwriter look like they were way ahead of the game on the 'Axis of Evil.'

Well that depends on *WHERE* they are launched from. The Al Qaeda has as many as 15 cargo freighters around the world that our Intel knows of. Saddam's regime is very much up on mobilizing their weapons programs. Why not mobilize these missiles to be launched from the sea?

People's Republic of North Korea.

Just for the record, the official name for the commie Korea is

Democratic People's Republic of Korea or DPRK.

The Democratic connection is very important ;-)

I certainly hope so. My guess is that their military will surrender faster than the Iraqi's did in gulf war 1......these NK men joined the army because it was the only way to get food. They see their families starving and would no doubt love to see NK free.

I just imagine it would change the response, too.

I don't know if he has them or not, but I'm betting the administration knows by now. If he has them, it's unlikely they'll go anywhere.

If A-Q was the real purchaser--or Saddam gave them to A-Q, their mobile platforms hidden on their ships won't do them much good when our subs pre-empt them.

Oh...well...I guess we need to send UN inspectors into Iran now. We know they'll get to the bottom of this and make the bad guys straighten up, don't we? /sarcasm
