I believe that we should call the Saddam's bluff and stick it to the United Nations at the same time!
So you want more inspectors do you?
We've got 150,000 eager candidates just raring to go.
Paint their helmets UN blue and dispatch them into Iraq to hunt-out the WMDs.
I guarantee that they can get the job done in short order, without a single shot being fired !
Oh, and one more thing...........
If they are fired upon, Saddam and his regime are toast!!!

Use of the terms "inspections" and "inspectors" is an example where the choice of language confounds rational thought. The UN personnel are in Iraq to VERIFY that Iraq has destroyed its weapons of mass destruction. There are numerous ways of verification only one of which is to find such weapons, i.e. prove noncompliance. Resolution 1441 is based on a wholly different method of verification, i.e. positive proof by Iraq that it has complied with prior resolutions to destroy such weapons.

Why wouldn't the UN continue to play Saddam's game? This organization is as blatantly anti-American (and anti-Semitic) as is possible, and regimes like Saddam's are therefore seen as the 'good guys'. No joke, this is precisely their position.

Dear Mr. Hitchens,
Write fast, I think we will be cleaning house starting Monday. By Friday the pictures of "WOMD" will be broadcast world-wide.
What are these Appeasers going to say then?
