Temp here is currently 70F. It was sunny all day.
Here's my theory: Humans are PRIMATES, meaning APES...Gorillas with toothbrushes if you will. EVER seen an APE living in a COLD area? Nope, didn't think so. AND, they have FUR, for the love of God!!!
The ape, in what is obviously FAR more wisdom than his hairless cousin, lives in the TROPICS!
If they'd have thought of blenders, they'd all be mowing down Banana Daquiris all the livelong day.
Why did WE, the supposed SMART ones in the family, choose to live in areas of the world that got so damned COLD? We don't even have FUR! What in God's name were we THINKING?

0037 Claudius Drusus Germanicus Caesar Nero emperor of Rome (54-68)
The Mini series based on the life of Claudius was the best series that I have ever seen! The books were good too!
You can learn more about Claudius here!

Nice to see that SOMEONE's on our side, snip. All the news reports is the "millions" of skinwasters who are AGAINST us.
Two of my close bros were recently on detachement to Whidbey Island, Washington. when they went offbase, they encountered protestors directly outside the gate. I'm told that the base I'll be going to in July, NAS Brunswick, Me., has similar skinwasters outside ITS gates, on a daily basis. What a wonderful way to go to work in the morning...seeing people who hate you holler at you.
I fear that I've gotten spoilt, having been here on a SOUTHERN base for a few years. I forgot how stultifyingly DUMB those up North can be, and I say that having been born and raised there.
Funny, it seemed that everyone I knew growing up was a Patriot. WTF happened? The New York I grew up in NEVER would have elected the Hildebeast, either.

You know, despite my fondness for their shirts, of which I own about a half-dozen, I've never been a big Hawaii mark. I much prefer the easy, laid-back Florida/Carribean/Keys lifestyle, with a little Daytona action on the backside.

Skinwasters, lol, I hadn't heard that one.
It is too bad that they get all the press but to be honest the patriots are busy with work and family and only a few get out to protest the protesters, especially in the winter. Never fear, we are here, we're just not big street protesters I guess.
Thank God for our brave freepers out today in the east. We had no planned rallys here, good thing too, we got 6 inches of snow.
If you end up out west and pass by the skinwasters, just remember us and smile. Congratulations by the way on the upcoming birth to you and the Mrs.

HELLO, Mr. Long Cut! La Contessa is one mean machine - you go girl! LOL! CONGRATULATIONS! Man, I didn't know you race her. That is way too cool.
As for the prize I won, I'm still waiting for an opportunity to have our President sign it. I'm so jealous of my sister who has an autographed picture of our President. She got it when she used to volunteer at the White House.

1812 Charles Lewis Tiffany Killingly CT, jeweler (Tiffany)
The Tiffany
128.51 carats The largest golden diamond known today is cut in a unique cushion shape. It was given 90 :facets, 32 more than the standard brilliant cut, and these extra facets give the great yellow diamond the effect of smoldering fire. You can see this fabulous stone at Tiffanys in New York City.
