Post 221 is a keeper

Plus I come more from Hebrew law where the motive is made secondary to the actual crime. I want to know the facts on the ground of the crime. The material circumstances the victim has been put in (by the criminal) rather than the mental, the motive, intent, emotions of the crimianl.

"Must have been his personality that turned her on."
Well it's amazing what a fat bank account can do to overcome a woman's doubts about a guys looks or other physical assetts.

SO9's accolades to this murderess are a bit unusual..lol
I went round and round with my wife and mom on this one. When I would inform them that under their logic then I would have been justified to kill my shrewish ex-wife who will have recieved nearly 1 million in child support and other sundries by the time my girls are grown, my wife (#2) and mom grow silent and give me the ol deer in the headlights look.
Which leads me to understand this is purely a female thing devoid of logic or rationale. They (as wives and mommies) are simply circling the laagers for their gender kinswoman alas much the same as nearly every Freeperette has opined on this thread.
But none of that explains the morbid attraction Clara holds for a certain male Freeper does it?.....

(and this was in texas.....in westchester county, they'd name a high school after her)
To: wardaddy
It's best left unsolved.

Some of the pro-Clara women around here need to start focusing their infallible emotions on the fate thrust upon these two little girls. They weren't consulted before the rampage. Let's start talking about the murder of a father, not a husband.
To: ArneFufkin
The fate of three daughters, I'm remiss.
To: Motherbear
Thats good, I said "if" after reading a post that said she was.

"We the jury, having found Clara Harris guilty of murder, wish her a happy Valentine's day, and give her 20 years." LMAO! Well I was too busy to do more than wipe my nose yesterday, let alone FReep, but Sweet Thang called me up last night to tell me Harris got 20 years and not to get any ideas. I dunno ideas 'bout WHAT cause Sweet Thang ain't got no Mercedez-Benz. ;)
Well she deserved it. Premeditated his murder, IMHO, and carried it out, and figured she'd get off on the sympathy vote. Actually I think she should've gotten slapped with life.

Ok, maybe not "trashy" per se...
Just Hellbound.
To: ArneFufkin
Could it be too, that we are seeing the results of 40 years of brainwashing by the NOW hags coming to the surface in the overt support for what Clara Harris did?

I believe you on that. I have no sympathy for these women. They act in absolute disregard for the welfare of their children - who deserve their daddy even if their daddy doesn't deserve their mother. Marriage is a legal construct ... fatherhood is an indelible, blessed and timeless bond.

If a woman is driven to madness and murder to protect her children or her life from a molesting or violently physical brute, I'm very open to justifiable defense. This woman disgusts me. She was crying for herself, not for her crime or the injustice and theft of loving secure life she forced upon her pre-school daughters. 20 years is a gift.

I thought Bridges was on some "Springer" type talk show wearing dark sunglasses talking about bad relationships way before Harris crime. It seems Bridges attracts trouble.

I'm disconcerted that so many conservatives"" on this forum --- divorced guys to a man, I suspect -- apparently want to downplay the Fifth Commandment. Dude... Nobody on this forum wants to downplay the 5th Commandment. Which reads, btw, "Honour thy father and thy mother."

Killing someone who needs kiling is an option, not a mandate I hate to be the one to break this to you: This is not 1845, Texas is no longer a Territory, and you are not Bat Masterson. I wish it was, I wish it was, I wish you were.
To: ArneFufkin
I agree. They should have sent her to the red brick house there at Huntsville and given her the needle.
