I'll apologize in advance because I dislike VANITY posts however they are often helpful to us Freepers. This is my first VANITY post.
I am curious if anyone is aware of any live streaming news captioning, text only, internet resources? My reasoning for this is that I'm in an open cube environment at work and I'd rather read/skim what is being webcast instead of being plugged into headphones or straining to hear my PC speaker.
For example, I would really like to follow the UN Security Council meeting via live streaming text rather than to listen to it.
I've searched several deaf resource sites and surprisingly didn't find much in the way of streaming captioning for the deaf. I'm not deaf but I thought they would have come up with something like that for them by now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
