Mr. Gedrich's bio:
Mr. Gedrich is Freedom Alliance's senior policy analyst responsible for monitoring and reporting on UN activities. His body of work and expertise regarding UN Policy includes analyses and reports on the UN's International Criminal Court, Human Rights Commission, record on terrorism, global tax initiatives, voting patterns and hiring biases. He is a member of the Center for Security Policy Working Group, Missile Defense Coalition, Tax Competition Coalition and Stanton Group.
Prior to joining Freedom Alliance, Mr. Gedrich worked in the U.S. Departments of Defense and State. He traveled throughout the United States and to U.S. missions in over 50 countries. At DoD, he directed reviews of sophisticated weapon systems and technology transfer programs. At State, he directed a special operations group and his assignments took him to Beijing, China during Tiananmen; Beirut, Lebanon under hostile conditions; Haiti during the embargo; several African countries undergoing political, economic, and social turmoil; the new countries in the former Soviet Union shortly after the collapse of communism.
Mr. Gedrich's examinations of the UN have disclosed some startling and provocative revelations. The UN's abysmally poor record in combating terrorism over a 40-year period, the hijacking of the Human Rights Commission by documented human rights abusers, claiming a global mandate for the International Criminal Court even though it entered into force with the support of only 67 countries representing about one-sixth of the earth's 6.2 billion population, blatant discrimination in hiring Americans in contravention of hiring standards, and the fact that 75 percent of UN members vote against U.S. positions most of the time are among his chief findings. Mr. Gedrich also attended UN Summits in Monterrey, Mexico and Johannesburg, South Africa and witnessed delegates displaying anti-American sentiments and delivering their greatest ovations to Cuba's Fidel Castro and Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe.
Mr. Gedrich graduated from Wilkes College in 1973 - with a bachelor's degree in commerce and finance - and from Central Michigan University in 1983 with a master's degree in business. He enjoys running, weightlifting, and traveling in his spare time.

To: Formerly Brainwashed Democrat
Dear Friend,
I want to thank you for signing the petition of support for Miguel Estrada and for sharing your thoughts and feelings about the Democrats continued obstruction. It is through this sort of dialogue with Republican activists that the NRSC is able to communicate Americans' support for the President's nominees to the Judiciary.
Outrage, indignation, and annoyance; these are just a few of the sentiments which have been conveyed in the thousands of messages the NRSC has received from Americans regarding the Democrat's filibuster of Miguel Estrada.
It is obvious that Democrats did not learn anything from this past election, which is why we are determined to build on our Republican Majority and send another message to the Democrats.
Together we can make America a better place to live, learn, work and raise our families. Thank you.
With warm regards, I remain
Gratefully yours,
Senator George Allen
