I just wish this particular show could have been broadcast on network tv. Miller would have brought in a sizable audience and he absolutely made toast of Donahue.

Donahue is a pot head.

Dennis is nothing short of brilliant. I was so mad, spitting mad about Donahue getting on his soapbox and in the typical lib fashion bullying Dennis by being loud and not allowing him to speak. Mad enough that I emailed MSNBC and told them to send Donahue back to 'that girl'!
I knew Dennis would nail him and he did! So I emailed Dennis c/o HBO, this man should run for office. I have always liked his political humour.

Miller's too smart to be a liberal -- or maybe he's got too much natural integrity. Whatever. He'll be with us soon.

I came upon this by accident at about 8:30. A little while later, I learned that when MSNBC says "Live," they mean live. Dennis learned a little while after that. Some people may have found the language unwarranted, but Miller was right: the ACLU was protecting the guy who tried to f*cough*ornicate the sheep.

Miller was brilliant. So many good lines.
When was the last time you heard someone mount an effective defense of John Ashcroft? Miller says "and then my liberal friends started calling Ashcroft a Nazi, and I'm thinking, hey, this is the guy who had every right to challenge a Senate election, and didn't because he didn't want to put a widow through that."
Then he went on to attack our schools for being too sensitive, and banning things like dodgeball. "Schools are supposed to prepare kids for life. What's life but 70 years of dodging people trying to throw things at your balls? Dodgeball should stay in."
I didn't do him justice. Biting, sarcastic, witty, and dead-on correct. I think Phil even knew he was outmatched.

Not to smart Now they know you watched the show all they care about is viewership Donahue is the liberals conservatives love to hate. He looks bad even to other liberals. I'd love to have him on prime time so that he could completely discredit liberalism.

Miller (like David Horowitz) is the worst kind of conservative - a reformed liberal.
(Personally, I was in college 68-72 and was part of the Woodstock nation, so, my opinion may be prejudiced.)

Miller recently had a conversion I guess the 80's are more "recent" than '70, but do I seem to recall through my beer-hazed college memories that Miller was a Reagan fan in the late 80's?

Miller is very sharp. He's living proof of the phrase, "show me a young man who is not a liberal, and I'll show you a man without a heart. Show me an old man who IS a liberal, and I'll show you a man without a brain."
