Fighting off the Lilliputians

Lately, I have found myself so fed up and angry with the blowhards at the United Nations, that I can hardly see straight. Seeing this gang of lilliputians trying to tie down this nation while they themselves, are swimming in waters over their heads, got me thinking. I did some research on Kofi Annon, the leader of these little people. Here is what I discovered about Annon and Ghana, the third world country he comes from. Granted, he has a masters degree from M.I.T. but; there is nothing in Annon's bio that indicates that he is qualified to make pronouncements about how Canada should conduct it's affairs and protect herself, let alone how the United States of America should act when under attack. The World Fact Book 2002 says the following about Ghana. It is a major hub for shipments of cocaine to America. It has LESS than 19 miles of expressway. Only 5842, miles of paved roads, only 5 airports with paved runways. It's yearly purchasing power is 39.4 billion - not 5 billion more than the DEBT of the state of California. Ghana has a 25% inflation rate. The average life span is 57. Two of it's biggest trading partners are France and Germany. Ghana's military budget is less than 35 million. There's more but you get the picture. This whole U.N. situation begs the questions: Why do we allow the U.N. to be run by guys that come from countries that don't even have indoor plumbing? More than this, why do we stay in it?

I really want to hear what fellow Freepers think about this. I'm sick of this bunch at the UN. I used to think that those who would demand that we get out of this circus, were being extreme in their charges about the evils of this anti American anti Israel pack of nit wits. I know now they have been right all along.
