I have to turn it off and depend on the great comments here. This man makes me so full of hate that I'm ashamed.
With a son-in-law sitting in Kuwait at this very moment, I wish bad, bad things on Mr. Byrd. I know it is wrong, but I do.

switched the clicker to ESPN2 for the world's strongest man competition. Could you ping the forum when they start that event where the strongmen have to drag a cart carrying Jerry Nadler and Sheila Jackson Lee 10 feet or more?

Yes, the Republicans should just divide into shifts, assign times, and have at least one member there at all times to take the podium when the Rats crap out.

Senator Smith, is giving it to Bryd for blaming the president for the stockmarket bubble that lead to the recession.
How the heck did we finally get someone speaking who makes sense.

Filibusters are intended to be boring. The idea is to bore your opponents into submission.
It could work.

Did Schumer screw up and allow us to get the floor back?
Either way, they will keep delaying and stalling on the cloture vote.
To: fightinJAG
I am beginning to think that is the strategy! Make sure we have someone to step in! Sen Smith is doing a great job!
