Penn is a boob but he is also a fine actor. His work in Sweet and Lowdown, Falcon and the Snowman, At Close Range, State of Grace and Casualties of War is excellent, really above standard. Doesn't change things though, he's still a boob.

Penn is a boob but he is also a fine actor. I wouldn't want him dabling in international relations any more than I would want him the service the brakes on my truck.
