MINA, Saudi Arabia (AP) - Fourteen pilgrims were trampled to death Tuesday during a ritual in the annual Muslim pilgrimage in which crowds of people throw pebbles at three stone pillars representing the devil's temptations.
Some pilgrims fell and were killed by the crush of people around them, according to the official Saudi Press Agency.

Everyday should be hajj day.
To: NormsRevenge
Clinton wouldn't dare go near any place stoning devils, even if it's Muslims doing the stoning.

Are you sure they were trampled and not actually stoned? I trust these people about as far as I can throw them.

From this week's Church, sorry, Mecca Grand Mosque bulletin;
"................and a good time was had by all. Only 14 killed this year. We look forward to next year's event with extra enthusiasm. Special thanks to the Ladies' Auxiliary for providing body bags and Abdul and all his helpers for organizing the stampede.
Cheers!!"

"In 2001, 35 people died in a stampede during the devil-stoning ritual. In 1998, 180 died performing the same ritual."
We lost 7 in the Columbia disaster and that was a "sign from Allah"?

Muslim pilgrims 'stone the devil' in Mena, outside of Mecca, February 11, 2003. The pilgrims in white seamless attire marched to Jamarat Bridge where each pilgrim threw seven pebbles at a pillar erected where Muslims believe the devil appeared to Abraham. (Shamil Zhumatov/Reuters) |

Hmmmmm...14 down, 999,999,986 to go I thought the last people on earth that believed in extermination of a religion died with Nazi Germany. But, I was wrong. Apparently I was wrong and genocidal sociopaths are alive and well here at FR!

Wanna have some fun? Go to one of these and start shouting "Bomb" or "Fire" (in Arabic of course). Or let loose a wild boar. Or just buzz them with one of our bombers. Guaranteed more then 14 trampled.

Or just buzz them with one of our bombers...and drop a big barrel labeled "Daisy" dangling from a parachute.

Death and misery follow these creatures like a shadow.
