ARMEYS CALL TO ACTION: Support the Presidents Agenda to Strengthen Americas Economy!
The President has proposed a specific agenda to increase the momentum of our economic recovery. But my sources in Washington, D.C. have told me that President Bushs bold plan to speed up his 2001 tax cuts and stimulate the American economy faces an uphill battle in Congress particularly when it comes to ending the double taxation of dividends.
It is imperative that while Members of Congress are at home in their districts for the Presidents Day recess (February 12-24), they hear about the importance of the presidents plan and ending the unfair, un-American, double taxation of dividends.
Here is what you can do:
1. Join me for a Presidents Day Recess Kick-off Conference Call on Friday, February 14, 2003 at noon (EST) that will discuss the presidents plan more in-depth.
To participate, call toll-free, 1-866-836-8212 and when prompted, enter the PIN code: 7980
2. Sign-up to receive an Armey Action Kit; a special packet that contains a list of targeted legislators, talking points, questions for legislators, and sample letters to the editor centered on the presidents plan, to make your voice heard.
3. Once you are armed with the most up-to-date information, I need you to call, write, e-mail, or visit the district offices of your U.S. Representative and Senators and urge them to support the Presidents Agenda to Strengthen Americas Economy. Let them know that you are a member of Citizens for a Sound Economy and that you want to see Congress adopt these important reforms!
I hope you will participate in this Fridays conference call. And to receive your Armey Action Kit, please click the link below to send me an email. Be sure to enter your name, full mailing address, and telephone number so that I can send you your kit right away.
