Hitler gained a very popular following in Germany as well... Times are going to be rough for Germans if they dont start listening to their liberators.

Now, that is rich. Talk about sanitizing and revising history.

95% of Americans polled believe that Germans would still be gassing Jews if not for the U.S.

Perhaps they should ask the Poles the same question about Germany.

...only six percent think President Bush is interested in keeping the peace,... Well, I think they are right about this. I don't think President Bush is particularly interested in keeping the peace, either.
The difference is that we do not share the German's fetishistic devotion to peace at any price. Getting your but kicked twice in world wars will do that to you, I guess.
In just does not compute to the modern German mind that sometimes peace is not the desirable course, and that war is necessary to prevent evil from triumphing. Since Germans have been playing the part of "evil" the past couple rounds, this blind spot is somewhat understandable.

A majority of Germans believe the United States is a nation of warmongers and only six percent think President Bush (news - web sites) is interested in keeping the peace..... ...meanwhile, those interested in reality history remember the warmonger Hitler who committed murder and genocide upon millions and millions of Germans and Europeans.

Contrary to popular opinion, Americans do NOT mong war. Bad for business, doncha know, and messy at the same time. The temporary displacements in economic development during war mobilization completely distort the orderly flow of products to market, and the government assumes much too large a role in daily life. However, sometimes circumstances are forced upon us. Our fault, perhaps, for failing in our diligence in controlling the events, but what the heck, who of us has NOT been blindsided by unexpected events? September 11, 2001 happened. Try as we may, the historical significance of the events of that day cannot be reversed.

The nation of Germany has shown their true colors, once again. The German people are socialists to the core and strongly anti-American. I say, screw'em all!

When Germany is attacked by Islamofascists and loses 3,000 of her citizens and still resolutely turns the other cheek, then and only then, will I give a flying flip what the German people think of us.

German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder has angered the Bush administration with his outspoken opposition to a war in Iraq, a position that has widespread backing in Germany where six million people were killed during World War II. Far more than six million were killed in Germany during World War II. Over six million Jews were killed by Germany during the war - not counting combatants from other nations, and Germany's own civillian casualties. All from a war and an attempt at genocide that THEY started.
To paraphrase Ann Coulter, "We will not accept lectures on morality from the Germans or military advice from the French!"
