"Bush may tap California Supreme Court Justice Janice Rogers Brown, a conservative judge who ruled against affirmative action and abortion rights, if a spot opens on the U.S. Supreme Court"

She's ruled against a.a. and abortion rights.. but she sided with a case brought regarding the so-called "assault weapons" ban. It's hard to hold that against her, though, as the case was frankly very stupid in the first place. So, maybe she'd be okay, I don't know.
