Solaris is a great UNIX operating system. Very exciting to use for a UNIX expert. (If you're not an expert, use Apple's UNIX: Mac OS X).

It was also a boring movie that about 3 people went to see. Shame that Clooney's movie stole Sun's OS name.

I was one of the three that saw the movie.

The glow of the red light from the exit sign was more entertaining though I have to admit, the air conditioning in the theater sent chills up and down my spine.

Agreed! I went to admin school at SUN for v.7 . I have heard that they're thinking of doing an Intel platform port of Solaris 9- I'd be keen to play with it.

Clooney wasn't even that clever. He stole the entire movie. It's a remake of an early 70's Soviet film.
