Fox News Channel announced that President Bush will be speaking from the Greenbriar, WV resort at 11AM. They will be carrying his speech live.
This resort is noteworthy because back during the Cold War, a large subterranian bunker was under the resort to protect members of Congress from a nuclear attack.

This seems unusual - was this scheduled? Do you think this is in response to the Frog/Kraut plan? I have a very hard time believing this speech was planned in advance. I think this speech is specifically in response to the Axis of Weasels plan. Like the Blue Helmets can actually form an army... Ten dope-heads can decide on what to have on a pizza faster than these guys can make a decision.

I can see why he'd want to go there! BTW, it's Greenbrier.

Was it a Fox News Alert or was this expected?

Ten dope-heads can decide on what to have on a pizza faster than these guys can make a decision. I should not have insulted dope-heads by comparing them to UN dipolmats, Frogs or Krauts. I will not repeat the error in the future.

Fox News just said he will be speaking to the "Republican House and Senate Conference" at the Greenbrier.

I am having a hard time believing that there is going to be a speech.. based on what I've been able or unable to find. If this is breaking NEWS, where is it breaking, only on FOX NEWS CHANNEL? Any other soucres?

Was it a Fox News Alert or was this expected? I think this was totally unexpected. One of the anchors just blurted out saying, "At 11AM EST today, President Bush will speak from the Greenbriar resort. We will carry it live." That's all folks.

*sigh* I had lunch there once (attending a CSX shareholders' meeting with my mother) and absolutely drooled looking over the first tee of that fabulous golf course.
