Before the DMN refreshed this story, it had mentioned that police had been called out to this house either 'many' or 'numerous' times. That reference is now missing in this story...

Three shot in Tarrant County

Associated Press

EVERMAN - Police responding to a 911 hang-up call found three people shot, two fatally, in what they described as a domestic incident early Friday.

An officer who went inside the home south of Fort Worth found three adult victims. One was dead at the scene, another died at a hospital and the third was reported to be in surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.

A neighbor, Mike Marshall, said a man, his wife, their teenage son and a 7-year-old boy lived in the house.

The youngest child, he said, was at school at the time of the shootings.

Marshall said he heard what sounded like three or four muffled gunshots and a woman screaming shortly after 8 a.m.

Other neighbors said they have observed domestic problems at the home, and the police had been called there many times.
