I quickly searched the internet. She had starred with Bob Hope in "Paleface". She was a favorite pin up girl for soldiers fighting World War II. She even started a child advocacy group, long before Hillary came on the scene. I didn't find anything yet that she entertained troops with Bob Hope overseas, though it wouldn't surprise me if she did. Got to keep looking.
