From another article, I believe they meant the Israeli Air Force Flag he took into space was found.

The Israel Air Force that Ramon took along with him to space was also found in its entirety. Yes I was wondering myself if this is a misprint. I read it a couple times since it is early for me and I've only had one cup of coffee. It does seem like a weird statement.
