I take it you lied about having the screen snapshot and now you're trying to divert the discussion to me. Remember, YOU pinged me to this thread to "prove" something to me.
Let's see it, big boy.

We'll just let your posts stand if that's going to be your response.
Everybody can see what you said and what you posted.

highly irrational, intensely critical, abjectly negative, highly irritatable, intensely conniving, remarkably unconcerned and, last but not least, bitchy for absolutely no reason wahtsoever Well, take the 'un' away from 'unconcerned' and you just described Tom Daschle.

We'll just let your posts stand if that's going to be your response. Now, now, now - the complete truth be told, *I* wasn't the one denying that *other* video showed the shuttle in peril west (yes, west) of Texas ... in the vicinity of Nevada to be more to the point.
Remember now? Is it coming back to you? Slowly as if up a steep grade?

On the Dallas Morning News website (a reliable paper BTW), there is a debris map of where the debris is being found. From the current map, it looks like the debris starts south of DALLAS which just happens to be EAST of Fort Worth maybe about 30 miles. Then it continues on eastward. Just went to the Fort Worth Star site and there is a map on there showing where debris was found at:
http://www.star-telegram.com/mld/interactivemedia/shuttlemovie.swf
Can find no report of debris raining down on the Fort Worth area or south of there.

I'm sure you've heard the very old adage: "There are none so blind as those who just stubbornly, without reason, without logic, who close their minds so tightly and refuse to acknowledge, agree or even 'see' that which is plain before their very face."
Something like that ...

I don't see that - must be a technical problem somewhere in the web between me and the server ...

I bet that if the FBI were to analyze the photo, they would determine that there is dust on the negative. Right, _Jim? Hey, it was good enough for the Krieger photo, after all.

Can find no report of debris raining down on the Fort Worth area or south of there. Then you either: A) aren't looking or B) don't know the cites in the area ...

Go look at the link -- know the area very well -- used to live in Texas and I go down there with my daughter shopping all the time and eat in Fort Worth and shop in Dallas! Not to mention OU/TEXAS games.
Now maps from two papers show the debris field starts SOUTH of Dallas which would be SOUTHEAST OF Fort Worth!

if you need help posting the pic, I know it is said: "A picture paints a thousand words" -
- but for me "a full-motion video tells the whole story".
I'm holding out for that ... I don't want to fall into the category of a michael redvero for heaven's sake -
- and get accused of re-touching photographs!

Maybe it's just me but i'm sick of hearing about these California pictures without seeing them. I have seen amateur video showing breakup from Reno, NV and Wupatki, AZ (just east of Flagstaff) aired. Both videos clearly show bright point sources of light separating from Columbia and falling slowly behind it.
