According to the media, the Columbia has lost a part of a tank at the start on Jan 16. Officials said yesterday, that this hadn´t caused any harm to the Columbia - now they say it probably has damaged the left wing of the Shuttle.

The worst part is you have the illiterate news people who dont know a thing about space travel making assumptions and spreading "could woulda" scenarios and since they have nothing better or new to say they keep saying the same things over and over again. It's no wonder why when things happen we can't get our facts straight.
