Poll is running about 80% for the executions to continue to about 20% to halt them.
This paper would love to see the Democratic governor of Missouri stop them but even he knows that would be political suicide in this state.

The cases in Illinois were tainted by crooked cops who planted evidence and such. Illinois has nothing to do with the legitimate death penalties imposed by other states.
