Yeah. And I bet it's been kind brutal on Lacey and her baby, too.

It's not like people who have killed never went on TV and said they didn't do it.

My first husband worked nights so I would do my housework in the evening. I got used to doing that. Now I can't because my second husband (the far better of the two, I might add), rests in the living room on the couch after working hard all day going about God's business. He's on call for every person in church, I think, who needs something and he loves it. But there are times when I would love to be busy in the evening like I used to instead of sitting around watching FOX News Channel all night. I was sick for three years when I couldn't do very much but sit and watch TV but I'm on the way back to better health now and am getting antsy.

Latest from National Enquirer, Feb.11 issue

by John South and Brenda You

Pregnant Wife Discovered Hubby's Affair Just Days Before She Disappeared

Just days before she disappeared, pregnant Laci Peterson found a photograph of her cheating husband Scott and his girlfriend and contfronted him in a fierce argument, The Enquirer has learned exclusively.

The young Modesto, Calif., woman was so furious over her husband's affair that she demanded a divorce, sources say.

Laci, 27, has beeen missing since Christmas Eve. Scott, 31. told police he was away fishing when his wife vanished , but he has not been cleared of suspicion in the case. In our Jan 28 issue, The Enquirer revealed Scott had a secret girlfriend and had taken out a large insurance policy on his wife.

Scott gave no indication of trouble in the marriage, but sources say Laci told friends a different story.

Laci confided to close friends that she found out about Scott and that the marriage was over, said a source close to the case.

Three days before she disappeared, Laci had discovered photos that Scott had taken with Amber Frey and they had a blazing fight. She told him the marriage was over, but it was going to cost him-- he'd be paying both alimony and child support.

Sources say Laci-- whose baby was due in early February-- wanted to hide her marital problems from her family until after Christmas, while she figured out what she was going to do.

Laci was concerned about Scott's business trips and late hours, according to a source. Scott seemed to be coming up with more excuses to be away-- like he had to work to make money for the baby, said the source.

When Scott notified family and friends on Christmas Eve that Laci was missing, they rushed to the couple's home. They found the house decorated for the holidays, with presents to Scott under the tree, but there was nothing from Scott to Laci, an insider said.

As police continue their search for Laci, hope of finding the woman alive is fading.

They believe she is in the water, possibly stuffed into a 50- gallon steel drums like the ones Scott uses for his fertilizer business.

Meanwhile, new revelations confirm earlier Enquirer reports on the case.

On Jan.24th, Amber Frey, 28, came forward publicly to admit she was Scott's girlfriend and had called cops after seeing him on television.

Other exclusive reports in the Enquirer revealed Scott had apparently showered and changed before giving the alarm that Laci was missing, and that the couple had once declared bankruptcy and were again heavily in debt.

Police were still holding Scott Peterson's truck and boat. They are waiting for forensic tests to come back on suspected blood found in the house, the truck and on clothing found in the laundry room.

Added the insider: If forensic tests show what the police think they will, they'll go back into the house with another search warrant.

You're welcome.

So now they think he may have put her inside a 50 gallon steel drum, and then weighted it with concrete.
If so, wouldn't he have to use a sturdier boat, if he dumped her in the bay?

Or maybe he just rolled it down into one of the many ravines in that area.

First of all, it's my opinion that SP has a sort of 'forced eloquence' in his manner of speech.

Or perhaps WRITTEN first and rehearsed (i imagine not in front of a mirror). Isn't that what liars do when they have to get their story straight?

Aren't the blood results due tomorrow? Wonder if they'll inform the public right away.

This may be Scott's last night as a free man.

OMG, he had to work to "make money for the baby"...I could just throw-up.

Wonder in which HBO series I saw this very same scenerio?

Three days before she disappeared, Laci had discovered photos that Scott had taken with Amber Frey and they had a blazing fight. She told him the marriage was over, but it was going to cost him-- he'd be paying both alimony and child support.

When this first happened, this is somewhere along the lines of what I thought.....dead on, in fact. However, I began to change my mind about Laci knowing anything when her family constantly denied knowing of any problems, of anything untoward with SP (and even to the point of fully supporting him, for so long), and also with Laci's best friend, even still, on the t.v. the other day saying she never heard about SP having an affair until just recently and that Laci never told her.....if Laci didn't tell this particular friend (who I can't remember her name right now, but she was on FOX the other day)....then who is it that Laci would have told? What other "best friends" did she have......I've been assuming the closest "best friend" of Laci's has been the one on t.v.

I completely believe, however, the NE's version of Laci knowing/finding out shortly before her disappearance; it makes sense to me.

Thanks. It was not much fun. I'm not out of the woods yet because I have renal failure but I'm trusting God to take care of that, too. Maryxxx

Yes, very bad choice of words!

I remember that "brutal" was often the choice word among, say, frat type young guys, to describe something like a tough exam--or the face of a girl they didn't like. So I can see why that might be a part of a 30-yr-old Fun Guy's lingo.

But...a little bit of discretion is called for here. Scott doesn't have it.
