Micheal Stinson, a Vietnam-era veteran, is co-founder of Take Back The Media.Being a Vietnam-era veteran is a far cry from being a Vietnam Veteran; my faith in media reporting shows this to be a truer indication that he did not serve in Vietnam.... Besides, I know a lot of veterans who are democrats, and a lot of democrats who call themselves Christians....

It initially scared off some marketers but the program's ratings and demographics were so good that it attracted business from sectors that don't sell to religious nuts anyway Rush's program's ratings and demographics are so good that it attracts business from sectors that don't sell to left-wing nuts anyway - so there!!!

This guy is NO reporter; if this isn't an OPINION piece, I've never seen one.

Hopefully, "Spatula City" will not be intimidated into cancelling their ads.

Not to worry. The truth is that advertisers have already learned that nobody listens to "progressive" radio. The only way progressives can stay on the airwaves is to confiscate taxpayer money to pay for it.

"Don't call me anti-American. I served this country." I'd call him anti-American to his face.

When Rush read the list of sponsering groups at the Washington DC rally it smacked of leftest, foreign, anti-american interests. I don't think many of the people concerned over the possibility of war realized who they were in bed with. Does anyone have a copy of the list? Hey Rush supporters, we can contact the advertisers also!

"It initially scared off some marketers but the program's ratings and demographics were so good that it attracted business from sectors that don't sell to religious nuts anyway -- including movies, beer, cosmetics, designer clothing, etc. ...Oh, and this writer is completely unbiased and honest in his reporting.
"Religious nuts" is now "principled journalism"?????

"He just went too far," said Stinson. "Don't call me anti-American. I served this country."
So? Benedict Arnold served this country Mr. Stinson even before it was a country. Does that make him any less of a traitor?

"Micheal Stinson, a Vietnam-era veteran,"
Funny his name doesn't sound Vietnamese..
I guess maybe he changed it after he immigrated from North Vietnam.

If I were CBS, I'd be very careful about instructing the public on how to conduct a boycott of a media outlet. I certainly wouldn't want to make the people doing so out to be heroes. They're really playing with fire on this.

So, can a few scrappy liberals really hurt him? The "Christian" right's attack on "NYPD Blue" in the early 1990s, on the other hand, was a complete failure. It initially scared off some marketers but the program's ratings and demographics were so good that it attracted business from sectors that don't sell to religious nuts anyway -- including movies, beer, cosmetics, designer clothing, etc.
Boycotters of Rush ar scrappy liberals...boycotters of NYPD Blue are religious nuts.

Somebody better remind these advertisers that Rush Limbaugh's audience are all people who have jobs, and therefore disposable income to spend on their products. The people boycotting them are much more likely to be jobless, and anti-capitalism, and certainly would be much less likely to be their customers in the first place. These companies that take such a strong stance about not advertising on Limbaugh's show better realize that that particular blade cuts both ways.
To: SierraWasp
Make no mistake. This is all being managed and organized by the DNC.
